Three Point Rowhouse
About
Working in a technical and spatial leadership role, Celmer Architecture developed the structural interior shell and navigated the permitting and construction for the comprehensive renovation of a historic three-story rowhouse originally built in 1899.
Challenged by a narrow 16’-0” wide lot, our design focuses on internal rhythm and daylighting. We introduced a series of three-point arches to define spaces without limiting the open-plan flow; these new arches provide a formal architectural cadence, creating a home that prioritizes storage and functional comfort without compromising its historic soul.
At the rear brick facade, we thoughtfully expanded the existing openings to flood the lounge and kitchen with natural light. A study in efficient luxury, the project balances rigorous utility with an open, airy atmosphere throughout the primary living spaces.
