Matthew Celmer, founder and lead architect of MCV, an architecture and interior design studio based in Brooklyn, New York.

Matthew Celmer
Founder, RA

Matthew is the lead architect and founder of Celmer Architecture PLLC. His work is inspired by a broad range of ideas from art and literature, which he pairs with over 15 years of architecture and building experience.

He holds a Master of Science in Architectural Design from Columbia University, where he was awarded the Lucille Smyser Lowenfish Memorial Prize, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Florida Atlantic University.

Prior to founding Celmer Architecture PLLC in 2020, Matthew built his professional foundation at renowned New York City architecture firms. He gained experience across a wide range of project types and scales, from commercial interiors and residential developments to cultural institutions.

Matthew has taught architecture and design at Syracuse University and the New York City College of Technology.

He is a licensed architect in New York, New Jersey, and Florida.
